Almost all fruits have a rich source of vitamins, fiber, & potassium, which are essential for Guinea Pigs. But what about grapes?

Guinea pig diets can vary slightly depending on where they live and what they are fed. The most commonly recommended food for guinea pigs is hay, fresh vegetables, fruit, seeds, and leaves.

Regardless of their environment or species, all guinea pigs should have a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit including anything from kale to bananas.

But what about grapes? Should Guinea pigs eat grapes? The answer is yes. Your cute guinea pigs definitely eat grapes. But, 

There will be few conditions as grapes contains high level of sugar. You can occasionally give your pet grapes as a treat.

Guinea pigs are able to eat small amounts of grapes. They should not be fed more than 1-2 grapes per day, though.

If your guinea pig eats too many, it will likely experience diarrhea from the high sugar content and low fiber. Guinea pigs may also become a little sluggish as a result of the large calorie intake. 

Like with any fruit, it's best to feed them in moderation so they don't have problems with weight gain or indigestion.

If you have a guinea pig that does not handle grapes very well, it is recommended that you do not feed him grapes anymore. 

If your guinea pig has a sensitive stomach and has diarrhea as a result of eating grapes, do not feed him any more grapes.

A diet high in fiber and low in sugar will be healthier for your guinea pig and help him have regular bowel movements.  It will also help keep his body working optimally 

so he can stay healthy without any digestive problems. Treat them grapes 1 or 2 days a week will be enough.
